This was the checklist. The teardown is the reading.
A machine can check your page's structure - it cannot read whether your copy proves its claims, whether the promise survives a squint, or what to write instead.
The full Squint teardown does that reading: annotated screenshots at real desktop and mobile viewports, paste-ready copy rewrites, a structure and proof audit, and a prioritized fix list. Delivered in minutes, $19 one-time, 14-day no-questions refund.
What the ten checks measure
Each check is a structural fact read from your page as a real browser renders it - not opinions, measurements. Here is what each one looks at and why it costs you visitors when it fails.
- 1Page title
The browser tab and every search result show it. Missing means an empty result; over ~60 characters means Google cuts the end off.
- 2Meta description
Your one controlled sentence on the results page. Without it, search engines improvise a snippet from whatever text they find.
- 3Mobile viewport
Without the viewport tag, phones render your desktop layout zoomed out - every mobile visitor squints for real.
- 4H1 headline
The page's one main claim. None means nothing is marked as your message; several means the page argues with itself; too long means the promise gets buried mid-sentence.
- 5Call-to-action position
How deep in the markup your first action-worded link or button sits. Visitors who never scroll should still meet an ask.
- 6Image discipline
Images without declared width and height make the page jump around while loading - the visitor loses their place right as they start reading.
- 7Script weight
Every external script is a request before your page settles. A count in the dozens is a slow first impression on any connection that isn't perfect.
- 8Text volume
How much visible text the rendered page actually contains. A page that is all hero and footer gives a stranger - and a search engine - almost nothing to read; we say so when the total falls far below the pages we review.
- 9Share image & favicon
Links without an og:image unfurl as bare text on X, Slack, and LinkedIn - a free ad slot left empty every time someone shares you.
- 10Claim density
How many numbers your opening copy leans on. The count is a fact; whether the page proves those claims is a reading - that part is the full teardown.
Results come from the rendered page, not the raw source - what a stranger's browser actually shows. Repeat checks of the same URL within a day return the cached result.
